Floating bar

In the channel in between Lamu and Shela Village you can find the floating bar. An unique African concept. Dinners and drinks are served here, in the weekends a party can last untill the early morning.

Maharaha bar en restaurant

A wonderful hidden gem in the dunes behind Shela. Enjoy the stars and open fire while different musicians play their tunes. The bar is not always open, so be aware of instagram and Facebook of @discoverlamu. The picture is from Maharaha bar on the next page.

The Majilis Manda Island

Enjoy the different restaurants and bars on the premises at the beach on Manda Island. The sunset bar is perfect for a sun downer.

Diamond beach villa's Manda Island

Every last Saturday of the month you can find a groovy crowd dancing the night away here. Party starts at 17.00 but the real thing hit at 22.00. Dinner and drinks available. Every Thursday it is movie night here, starting at 17.00 and pizza's available. A fun and relaxed place to be.

Peponi Hotel

The heart of the island

The hub of the island just at the front of Shela Village is Peponi hotel, bar and restaurant. Many events are organised here and you are always welcome for fine dining (make a reservation first) and a drink at the bar on their lovely terrace.
